Who you pay for
A paid seat is an active person with an editing role, given to them directly or through a group. Everyone who only reads is free, on both models, so you can open the register to your board, executives and auditors at no cost.

Two ways to pay
Both include every Enterprise feature. A business entity is a legal entity or subsidiary you flag in Rosco; divisions, departments and teams beneath it are free.

Per person costs less for one entity with fewer than 100 people who edit. Each additional entity raises that point by 50 people.

Changing, renewing and going over
- Change at any time. Add or remove people, entities or extra people from your account in the licence portal. More is charged now for the rest of the year; less is credited to your next invoice. Each change issues a new licence file.
- Some room to grow. You can go up to 10% over what you've licensed before Rosco stops giving out more editing roles or entities. Admins see a warning first. Nobody loses access, and Viewers can always be added.
- Renewal. The licence renews each year with your subscription, and the new file is emailed to your account owners and technical contacts.
- If a licence lapses. Enterprise features keep working for 30 days after expiry. After that Rosco carries on as the Community edition: your data stays, and everyone can still read it.
- Try it first. A 30-day Enterprise trial is free, with no card needed: 25 paid seats, or 3 business entities.
Common questions
- Do Viewers and Auditors really cost nothing?
- Yes, on both models. Only people with an editing role (System Admin, Risk Manager or Risk Owner) take a paid seat.
- Does Rosco check the licence with you?
- No. The licence is checked on your server and nothing is sent to us. Rosco works without internet access, including air-gapped installations.
- Can we change from one model to the other?
- Email hello@roscoriskmanagement.com and we'll move your subscription and issue a new licence.
- Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
- Yes. Email hello@roscoriskmanagement.com with the quantity you need.
